As Camilo enters his second month in quarantine, the Colombian singer-songwriter serenaded fans with acoustic versions of songs from his chart-topping album Por Primera Vez on Thursday (May 14) as part of the Billboard Live At-Home concert series.
Camilo’s set raised money for the National Coalition for the Homeless. “During quarantine, I’ve been learning so much about the universe (my home),” he told viewers. “We’re living complicated times and now, more than ever, we should be united. The most important thing is this button where you can donate.”
Camilo kicked off with his ultra romantic track “Medialuna,” then sang a few others, including “Por Primera Vez,” “La Mitad” and his hit song “Tutu.”
“I’ve been spending my time writing music with my wife, my favorite person. For those that don’t know, we just got married and this has now become like a second honeymoon for us,” Camilo said toward the end of his live performance. He wrapped up with “Favorito,” dedicating it to his wife, Evaluna.
