Carrie Underwood performed her Cry Pretty single “Drinking Alone” for the ACM Presents: Our Country special on Sunday (April 5), hitting every note from the comfort of her couch at home.
Sitting on her cozy-looking sofa with a glass of red wine by her side, Underwood proved that she was indeed drinking alone, per social distancing rules. The country superstar then sang the piano ballad with as much passion as she would on the massive Academy of Country Music Awards stage, if the ceremony had happened as planned tonight. (The ACM Awards will now take place on Sept. 16.)
Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown & John Legend, Florida Georgia Line, Sheryl Crow and many more country stars are expected to perform during tonight’s special, airing on CBS.
