Celine Dion was leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City, when she was surprised by the vocal abilities of a fan.
In a clip gone viral on social media, Frieda Solomon took a chance when she spotted the singer, delving into an a capella version of Dion’s 2002 hit, “I Surrender.” The legend, who was sitting in a car with the window rolled down, asked the driver to stop the vehicle so she could listen, and in response, smiled at her superfan and offered her a fist bump.
Solomon shared the iconic moment on Instagram, writing in the caption, “Celine Dion: Thank you for singing for me. Me: Thank you for singing for me my whole life! Such an honor to sing to you @celinedion Starstruck is an understatement.”
