Colombian group ChocQuibTown has exclusively shared behind-the-scenes footage of the video for “Fresa,” their most recent single, with Billboard today (March 26).
“Fresa initially was a song we wanted to identify the Latin sound but in the future,” ChocQuibTown’s Goyo previously told Billboard. “We wanted to show a futuristic tropical sound and for it to have its own space within the urban genre. We also wanted the song to have a balance between comedy and romance.”
The colorful video was directed by JP Valencia along with Goyo, who captured the essence of a futuristic African diaspora. The song was written by Goyo, Tostao and Slow along with Venezuelan songwriters Jorge Luis Charcin and Oscar Hernández (Oscarcito).
