Christian Nodal has dropped a new single for all of the heartbroken men and women who are enjoying the single life. Coined as “Se Me Olvido,” the music video premieres exclusively on Billboard.
With lyrics such as “I forgot I was hurt because you left me / now that I’m dancing I stopped missing you,” and “I’m beginning to like being single and I’m going to stay that way,” the Mexican crooner sings about feeling better and happier after a breakup.
Composed by Edgar Barrera and Geovani Cabrera, “Se Me Olvido” fuses country music with mariachi and comes with a playful clip that was filmed in Guadalajara, Mexico. In the music video, Nodal is seen singing the song as he’s joined by a group of people having a great time at a festival in a desert setting.
Christian Nodal is a three-time finalist at the 2020 Billboard Latin American Music Awards. The awards show will air live April 23 on Telemundo, following the three-day event and panel series LatinFest+ presented by Billboard and Telemundo in Las Vegas.
