Clipse have been all the noise lately; certainly not bad form for artists that were left hanging in midst of label politics. Duo’s member and acclaimed rapper Pusha T recently stirred some more talk upon mention of how Def Jam (in his opinion) was on the lookout for any kind of excuse to censor the Kendrick verse on the project.
Even previously, King Push found himself brewing trouble and taking shots at Travis Scott, whose actions left Clipse’s collaborator and friend Pharrell feeling bitter about being blindsided by a diss on Travis’ Utopia. Pusha called a spade a spade and had fans anticipating a Houston response; well, that’s at least what Bun-B had to say on the matter.
Clearly, the Clipse have been making noise but enough with the noise now — we are here for the music. The duo have wasted no time in feeding hungry fans and are back with a tasteful performance on the COLORS stage. Check it out to see what all the hype is about!
