John “Ecstasy” Fletcher, who is a rapper as well as a founding member of Whodini, which is a pioneering hip-hop group, passed away aged 56. This news was confirmed by Grand Master Dee of the group, although the cause of death was not revealed. It was the Roots’ Questlove that was revealed the news of the death, and several people in the rap community mourned his death.
