‘Cold Beer Calling My Name’: Listen

Newcomer Jameson Rodgers enlisted the help of his former tour mate Luke Combs for the feel-good party song “Cold Beer Calling My Name.” Rodgers penned the song with Hunter Phelps, Brett Tyler, and Alysa Vanderheym.

On the new track, Rodgers and Combs look to crack open a cold one after a long day. With stomping rhythms, an anthemic chorus and layered guitars, the song is bound to soar in the live setting.

“It’s a fun, easy song, and I thought it’d be cool to have someone on it and at the time I was out with Luke Combs,” Rodgers says in a statement. “I asked Luke if he’d like to sing on it – I know he’s a cold beer drinker like myself – and luckily it worked out and I’m excited for everybody to hear it.”

“Cold Beer Calling My Name” follows the release of Rodgers’ debut single “Some Girls,” which lands at No. 30 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart this week.
