‘Definitivamente’ hikes 14-9 in its eighth week.
Daddy Yankee and Sech’s first collaboration, “Definitivamente,” hits the Latin Airplay chart’s top 10 (dated April 18) with a 14-9 jump.
The NeKrum and Ovy on The Drums-produced tune lands at No. 9 with 8 million in audience impressions (up 4%) earned in the week ending April 12, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
The move earns Yankee his 36th top 10. The Puerto Rican continues to have the second-most top 10s ever on the chart, trailing only Enrique Iglesias who continues with 39 top 10s. Sech, meanwhile, clocks his third top 10 which began in 2019 with the former No. 1 hit single “Otro Trago,” with Darell, Nicky Jam, Ozuna and Anuel AA (Aug. 31, 2019).
“Definitivamente” is Yankee’s 11th consecutive top 10 since 2019 kicked off with the No. 7-peak tune “Adictiva,” with Anuel AA. In between, he has placed nine No. 1s including his eight-week ruler, “Con Calma,” featuring Snow.
“Definitivamente” concurrently rises 12-9 on Latin Rhythm Airplay. With 53 top 10s there, Yankee continues his reign with the most top 10s on the survey since its inception in 2005, way ahead of runner-up act, Wisin & Yandel who hold 33 top 10s.
