There’s no denying that 2020 has been a big year for Demi Lovato. After making her triumphant return at the Grammys, the star has already released two new singles, teased major collaborations, and has a brand new album on its way.
But the star has also spent much of 2020 being as honest as possible with her fans (and her family). In her new cover story with Harper’s Bazaar, Lovato opened up once again about her dating life, saying that she’s still interested in both men and women and isn’t entirely sure who she’ll end up with later on in life.
“When I imagine my life in the future, I don’t say, ‘I’m looking for a man who I want to have two or three kids with,'” she said. “I think it could be so much fun to share children with a woman … So I don’t know what my future will look like, and I’m open to anything.”
The star elaborated, saying that when it comes to the people she dates, she’s not necessarily looking for anything in particular. “People always ask me, ‘What’s your type?’ And I’m like, ‘Have you seen my history?’ There is no type,” she said. “It is solely off connection. I wish I could say, ‘I only date attractive people.’ But I don’t.”
However, all of those concerns have been put on the backburner by Demi, who said that after being locked out of her own Raya account, she decided to take it as a sign. “I was like, ‘You know what? It’s fine. I don’t need to be on this because I think I’m supposed to be alone right now.’
