‘Sergeantstyle’ is a more bar based offering compared to her debut tune ‘Wanted’, which has a melody-orientated, afro swing style. That being said, the East Londoner upholds a melodic flow regardless of the track, riding EM1X’s skippy production with the swagger of a seasoned vet. With an airy guitar line carrying the shuffling instrumental, her new release holds the essence of R&Drill, merging UK rap sounds with R&B tones.
Backed by GRM Daily and MixtapeMadness, Denyher already has the troops behind her. This new tune was even premiered on Shay D’s show on Reprezent Radio, which is just one example of the serious cosigns she’s received from leading ladies across the scene.
