Comedic duo Desus & Mero recently linked up with Complex’s Joe La Puma for a brand new episode of “Sneaker Shopping” at Stadium Goods in New York City, where they discussed sneaker culture in the Bronx, their favorite Jordans, and never repeating an outfit on their show “Desus & Mero.”
The Bodega Boys also weighed in on the Air Jordan 16 “foreskin,” LeBron James’ signature sneaker line and Nike’s recent Colin Kaepernick ad, as well as the boycotters who were cutting the swoosh logo off of their gear. Additionally, the duo gave their take on Yeezys, Air Force 1s and Nike Foamposites, which Mero describes as the sneaker equivalent of Timbs: “Like if you see a dude in Foams, it’s like yo this dude got several felonies.”
At the end of their visit to Stadium Goods, Desus & Mero walked out with $3989.18 worth of merch including the Acronym x Nike Air Presto, “South Beach” Nike LeBron 9, “Cactus Jack” Air Jordan 4s and Nigel Sylvester’s Air Jordan 1 collab.
