Different Songs, Same Titles To Top The Hot 100

DaBaby & Roddy Ricch rule with the same title as Post Malone & 21 Savage’s 2017 leader.

It’s a case of almost-déjà vu atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as DaBaby’s “Rockstar,” featuring Roddy Ricch, hits No. 1.

The song shares the title of Post Malone’s eight-week leader, featuring 21 Savage, in 2017.

“Rockstar” joins the club of different compositions but with matching titles that have ruled the Hot 100 over the chart’s nearly 62-year history.

Below is a rundown of all such smashes. (As a strict English teacher would surely appreciate, not included are three pairs of titles that each sound the same but have slight differences: “All 4 Love,” Color Me Badd / “All for Love,” Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart & Sting; “Stuck With You,” Huey Lewis & the News / “Stuck With U,” Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber; and “Wild, Wild West,” The Escape Club / “Wild Wild West,” Will Smith feat. Dru Hill & Kool Mo Dee.)
