Dime and adidas Skateboarding Link Up for a New Footwear and Apparel Collection

Following up on the 1TRL Moab project that it worked on with Merrell earlier this year, Dime is hopping back on the collaborations train this week by introducing its latest team-up with adidas. The Montreal-based streetwear label has aligned with the brand’s skateboarding division and put together a new footwear and apparel collection.

Leading the way for this initiative is the adidas Superstar ADV silhouette which is designed in black and white colorways. Both are treated with full-grain leather uppers and come styled with the iconic “wave design” across the heels and patent leather stripes. Tonal restoration graphics are applied to the tongues along with 70% smoked rubber outsoles for extra durability.

In the apparel department, the duo has engineered matching, co-branded tracksuits that come in baby blue and solid black palettes. The pieces are cut with a roomier fit that is inspired by style in the ’80s. “It’s both humbling and an incredible honor to have partnered with a global and respected brand like adidas Skateboarding for this collection,” says Dime’s Mark Regimbal. “We had full access to their deep catalog and resources that opened our world to endless artistic possibilities. The adidas team made the creative process fun and easy for us while honoring our values as a brand. We loved working with adidas and featuring our city for the world to see. At the end of the day it should be about contributing to communities positively with premium products and we hope this collection does just that.”

The items will range from $85 USD-$100 USD and will launch on May 13 via Dime and on May 14 through adidas and select retailers.
