DJ Kay Slay Hospitalized for COVID-19

DJ Kay Slay is in a battle for his life with COVID-19.

Music executive Wack 100 revealed that the famed New York DJ has been hospitalized with the coronavirus for two weeks and his prognosis is not good. According to Wack, the 55-year-old was recently put on a ventilator.

“Pray for my brotha @djkayslay It’s not looking good,” he wrote on Instagram. “He might be mad at me for this those that know Slay but he needs all the support he can get … Been 14 days fighting Covid and he’s just be put on a ventilator.”

Added Wack, “Keep him in your prayers Please.”

Kay Slay, whose real name is Keith Grayson, received messages of support from friends including Juicy J, E-40, Musiq Soulchild, and Royce da 5’9″.

While promoting his single “In My Soul” on Instagram, Kay Slay’s family thanked his supporters for their well wishes. “Keep the positive energy up for my brother Slay for a speedy Recovery,” read the caption.

Kay Slay, who rose to fame with his Streetsweeper series, released his latest album The Soul Controller last month featuring Snoop Dogg, The Game, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, and Too $hort.
