DNAP EXCLUSIVE INSIDER REPORT

What first got you into music?
Idk I always had my walkman on me lol I grew up in awe of how effective music is for escapism, and I always knew I wanted to create characters that had a similar effect on people.

Who inspired you to make music?
Happened by accident during the pandemic lol. I had a bunch of roommates who are producers (Hideaway Beats, TOWERS, and HMPMLK) and whenever boredom would set in we would make rap songs and see who could come up with the craziest bars or get a good laugh going in the room.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?
At first it was a lot of experimental rap songs, some were comedic and others were witty. Made over a variety of different beats that weren’t “traditional”, some using bass house elements which made them unique. This helped me learn a lot. Nowadays I’m exploring new genres because I find each one has a puzzle to solve and I find it really interesting.

What is your creative process like?
A lot of overthinking lol. Sometimes for the better, sometimes not. I love to collaborate with people the most. I think it’s really fun to capture the moment with someone authentically, but I also believe there’s a lot of value in working on the same project for a while. For me it’s about finding a balanced workflow and being able to switch into an audience member’s point of view when it’s time to review.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?
Rick Rubin

If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?
Post Malone. Would probably have some epic pong matches in between shows too

What is one message you would give to your fans?
Stick around, let’s have a fun journey.

What is the most useless talent you have?
Can do backflips off one foot (yes really)

Do you sing in the shower? What songs?
Elvis lmao

What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?
I’d own a martial arts school

Where have you performed? What are your favorite and least favorite venues? Do you have any upcoming shows?
Las Vegas, did some crowd surfing in Upstate New York, and California. All favorites but Project Z festival in San Bernardino, California had huge pyrotechnics for a crowd of thousands, so it was unforgettable experience. Shoutout to G-Space for giving me the opportunities of a lifetime

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
More opportunities, but extremely saturated. People’s attention spans are at an all time low so there’s more pressure to be catchy or captivating for the sake of numbers… but that seems to be everything on the internet nowadays

What is your favorite song to perform?
Gettin Rowdy lol

Which famous musicians do you admire?
Literally of them lmao even the bad ones but some that come to mind are Michael Jackson, Eminem, Jay-Z, Mac Miller, Drake, 50 cent, David Bowie, Joji, MGK, Russ, John Mayer, Justin Timberlake, Lil Uzi Vert, Hayley Williams. (<— That alone is a funny list and not nearly enough tbh)

What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?
Uhhhh when I was 16 I got put in handcuffs for like 20 mins thanks to a fake id LOL

What is the best advice you’ve been given?
“This too shall pass” essentially saying stay humble in times of success and hopeful in times of despair.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
I wish more people were genuinely curious about discovering new music. The world should go back to just enjoying a song for what it is. • What’s next for you?
More characters. New beginnings. I want my versatility to be my biggest strength as an artist. Let’s see.
