. Many are rightfully upset at the injustices that have been committed against people of color for centuries and these protests are meant as a way to get some real change happening. At this point, it remains to be seen whether or not the government will actually take notice in a positive way, especially when you consider how they have handled protesters in the past.

A large part of the movement against police brutality is ANTIFA which is simply short for Anti-Fascists. The right has been against ANTIFA for years and now, President Donald Trump is taking another swing. In a new tweet, Trump claimed that ANTIFA is responsible for the destruction in the country and that they will be declared as a terrorist organization.

In case you haven’t gotten the memo, the President is more concerned about those who oppose fascism, then those who enact fascism. This is a troubling revelation especially if you were hoping for the President to side with those protesting.
