Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar join forces in an epic trailer ahead of next month’s Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show.
Directed by filmmaker F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton, Friday), “The Call†finds all five performers coming together for the first time as the world awaits what could be the greatest 12 minutes in music entertainment.
The cinematic clip opens with Em battling his alter ego Slim Shady when he gets the call from Dre. Snoop is cruising through L.A. in his lowrider when Dre rings him up, while MJB is on set of a photo shoot. Kendrick can be found furiously writing rhymes at his desk to the tune of his hit “HUMBLE.,†and the newly-single Dre takes a stroll on the beach.
It ends with them meeting up at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. in anticipation of the most-watched musical performance of the year on Feb. 13.
The trailer, scored by Emmy-nominated music director Adam Blackstone, features each artist’s biggest hits including “Rap God,†“The Next Episode,†“Family Affair,†“HUMBLE.,†“Still D.R.E.,†and “California Love.â€

Dre is going all out to make sure his halftime performance is one to remember. He is reportedly spending millions of his own money to pull off an iconic show.
