Drake’s “Gods Plan debuted at#1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week February 3. The track was released alongside Diplomatic Immunity astheScary Hours EP.
“God’s Plan”is the 29thsongto debut at #1 inthe Hot 100 chart’s history, according to Billboard.It replaced Camila Cabellos “Havana,” which enjoyed a weekin thefirst place slot.
Preliminary data shows Gods Plan may total a record-breaking 55 million U.S. streams. The track is also slated to sell over 110,000 downloads, landing at number one on the Digital Song Sales chart. Last week, “God’s Plan” broke the global record for first-day streams on Apples streaming service as well as the U.S. record for Spotify.
The other half Scary Hours, Diplomatic Immunity, currently sits at #7 on the chart, making Drizzy just the second artist in the chart’s history to debut two songs in the Top 10 at once.
