Dua Lipa is back in the studio working on her sophomore record.
The 23-year-old took to Twitter today (April 4) to share an update with fans about the new project. “Last night in the studio with the legend @nilerodgers ❤” she wrote, along with photos of the vocalist and legendary producer.
A typed note went on to explain her musical direction. “I want to keep you all in and part of the process so as I’m slowly going on and starting to finish songs for my next album, yesterday was truly one for the books," Lipa wrote.
She also explained that her self-titled debut album was heavy on the electronic side, whereas her next effort will focus on live instruments, hence the Rodgers connection.
“I was on the brink of tears as I saw more life being brought into these records!” the singer shared.
