For his first endeavor since leaving Columbia Records, Earl Sweatshirt announced plans for a new project dropping Friday — yup, as in midnight ET. Feet of Clay will arrive Warner Records in partnership with Earl's Tan Cressida label.
"FEET OF CLAY – TONIGHT @ 9:00 PM WESTERN STANDARD TIME," he wrote when unveiling the EP's eerie cover art, which features a demonized goat in the nighttime. Feet of Clay will include seven tracks total, with assists from Charlotte's MAVI, Mach-Hommy and additional production from the Alchemist and Ovrkast.
“FOC is a collection of observations and feelings recorded during the death throes of a crumbling empire," Earl said of the EP's inspiration in a statement. Feet of Clay is the 25-year-old's first body of work since 2018's Some Rap Songs. He's also set to hit the 2019 Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival stage next weekend in Los Angeles.
