El Fantasma nabs his eighth top 10 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart (dated March 7), as “Palabra de Hombre” jumps 13-9 thanks to an 18% boost in audience impressions (to 4 million) earned in the week ending March 1, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
“Palabra” is the first cut from El Fantasma’s seventh album, due later in the year AfinArte. “Palabra” also sees some improvement on the all-genre Latin Airplay chart, moving 34-28 in its third week.
Beyond his Latin airplay expansion, El Fantasma, also known as The King of the Underground, likewise advances on the all-genre Hot Latin Songs chart, with spikes in all metrics (airplay, digital sales and streams) as “Palabra” pushes 45-39 in its second week.
J Balvin Arrives With ‘Rojo’: As J Balvin’s “Rojo” debuts at No. 10 on the Latin Digital Song Sales chart, the Colombian collects his 38th top 10 on the list. He continues to trail only Daddy Yankee and Ozuna for the most top 10s on the chart, as they each have 39.
“Rojo” follows “Blanco” and “Morado,” both of which debuted in the top 10 (No. 5 and No. 4, respectively). The new track starts with fewer than 1,000 downloads earned in just one day of reported sales, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, as it was released on Feb. 27.
“Rojo” is Balvin’s third single from his fourth studio album, Colores, due March 20 Universal Music Latino/UMLE.
