Eminem Brings Royce Da 5’9″ on Board For Marshall Mathers Foundation

Eminem and Royce Da 5’9″ are joining forces again, this time in hopes of sparking change. On Sunday (June 21), Em announced that his partner-in-rhyme would serve as the director of community engagement and social justice initiatives for the Marshall Mathers Foundation.

“I’m super excited about not just donating money but launching new initiatives. My goals are simple. Provide privilege for the underprivileged and I’m honored to team up with @eminem to do so… #MarshallMathersFoundation,” wrote Royce on Instagram after announcing the venture with his oft-collaborator.

“Really happy and lucky to have @royceda59 on board with the #MarshallMathersFoundation to help us reach new goals,” Eminem shared in honor of his friend.

In addition to crowning Royce his new position, Em also celebrated the 10th anniversary of Recovery by gifting fans a limited 24-hour merch sale on his website. The album spawned Hot 100 hits such as “Not Afraid,” No Love” and “Love the Way You Lie.”
