Eminem to Guest Star on 50 Cent’s ‘BMF’

Eminem is joining the “Black Mafia Family.”

The Detroit rapper is set to guest star on 50 Cent’s Starz series “BMF.” According to TheWrap, he will take on the role of White Boy Rick on an upcoming episode.

“Oh yeah i’m bringing the big dogs out, I couldn’t do a show based in Detroit without incorporating the legend @eminem,” tweeted 50. “Got him to play white Boy Rick in BMF, this shit is out of here.”

Rick Wershe Jr. aka White Boy Rick was an FBI informant. He sold drugs and guns as part of a Detroit gang in his early teens. When he was 17, he was dumped by the feds and arrested for cocaine possession. Wershe was sentenced to life in prison and was eventually released in June 2020 at age 50.

Wershe was the subject of 2017’s Netflix documentary White Boy, while a scripted biopic, White Boy Rick, was released in 2018 starring Richie Merritt and Matthew McConaughey.

“BMF,” based on one of the most influential crime families, is set to premiere Sept. 26 on Starz. The drama series will also feature Snoop Dogg in the recurring role of Pastor Swift, a spiritual advisor to the Flenory family.

Eminem hasn’t done much acting since his starring role in 2002’s 8 Mile.
