Fans Destroy Festival Stage After Canadian Border Denies Lil Uzi Vert

Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada – Lil Uzi Vert canceled an appearance at The Festival Santa Teresa in Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada, and now the police have gotten involved after fans rioted to show their displeasure at his absence.

The “XO Tour Llif3” rapper has canceled appearances at festivals before, for a variety of reasons, but this time, his failure to appear had everything to do with immigration border control in Canada, and nothing to do with him, or so he claims.

Uzi took to social media to rant about the whole situation, saying he knows he has a reputation for missing shows, so he tried to fulfill his obligations at the festival. But no such luck.

“Coulda went to the muthafuckin Billboard Awards,” he said.

When fans realized that he wasn’t putting in an appearance, they rushed the stage and began vandalizing it, as the video below shows.

Both Ski Mask The Slump God and Trippie Redd were supposed to perform the same night, but the festival announced earlier in the day that neither of them would be making it.

The festival has informed ticket buyers they’ll get a refund.

According to The Canadian Press, the police are currently investigating the details surrounding the incident, and are asking members of the public to contact them with any information they may have regarding the vandalism.
