Fans Pick Los Dos Carnales & El Fantasma’s ‘El Fue Arturo’ for Best Latin June Collaboration

Every month, Billboard asks readers to vote for the best collab released during the month. Fans have voted and crowned Los Dos Carnales as the best Latin collaboration of June with their single “El Fue Arturo” featuring El Fantasma.

The Regional Mexican joint leads the pack with nearly 44 percent of the votes. They are followed by Abraham Mateo and Becky G’s “Tiempo Pa’ Olvidar” and Luciano Pereyra’s “Me enamoré de tí” featuring Chinese pianist Lang Lang.

“El Fue Arturo,” highlighted in Billboard’s First Stream Latin weekly playlist, is a traditional corridos norteño that tells the story of Arturo, a Robin Hood-type character who becomes involved in the cartels of Mexico.

Released on June 19 under AfinArte Music, the official clip shows all three artists in their natural habitat, performing the song at a ranch as they have some drinks and smoke some cigarettes.

With over 70 percent of the votes, Anuel & Enrique Iglesias took the best Latin collab title in May. In April, Feid took the crown with his Sky Rompiendo-assisted song “Relxjxte.” Chino & Nacho’s comeback track “Raro” nabbed the title in March. Bad Bunny and Sech’s “Ignorantes” had the most votes in February and January’s winner was “Grande,” the ’90s dream joint by Gloria Trevi and Monica Naranjo.
