From Becky G to El Alfa, Enjoy These Latin Songs This Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day is sneaking up on us, and Billboard is hooking up readers with a work-related Latin playlist to enjoy over the long weekend.

The national holiday celebrates the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of their country. It also marks the end of summer and the beginning of the fall season.

Many hard-working people living in the states enjoy the three-day holiday break by relaxing, traveling or having a get-together with friends.

Whichever the case, here are five songs by artists such as Becky G, El Alfa, Los Autenticos Decadentes and more that must be on your playlist.

“La Respuesta” – Becky G ft. Maluma

In the empowering reggaeton bop “La Respuesta,” Becky G teams up with Maluma to remind machista men around the world that women are hard-working, independent, and can get stuff done!

“Se Trabajar” – Jorge Valenzuela

The late Regional Mexican singer narrates the story of a man who lost his friends when he stayed jobless. In the end, he reminds them that he will be successful because he knows how to hustle.

“Dinero” – Jennifer Lopez

Alongside DJ Khaled and Cardi B, J.Lo dropped a Spanglish trap song fused with rap music that highlights a woman who only wants her money and works hard for her glamorous life.

“La Guitarra” – Los Autenticos Decadentes

A true rock en español anthem, “La Guitarra” is a song for all of those people who don’t like to work a 9 to 5 job and would rather make a living out of their passion or hobby, such as being a musician.

“El Alfa” – Pa Pa Pa

With “Pa Pa Pa,” El Alfa pays tribute to the hard-working construction workers. In fact, the music video kicks off with the Dominican artist telling a model that he’s going to work scraping the streets.
