He's a creep, he's a weirdo.
G-Eazy is spending his time in coronavirus quarantine wisely. The rapper surprised fans this week with a pair of hazy covers of rock classics in which he trades rhyming for singing.
On an ethereal spin on Radiohead’s “Creep” featuring Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson crooning alongside Gerald over a sample of the Phil Collins “In The Air Tonight” beat, the pair intertwine their vocals to give the dark classic a poppier spin.
Eazy also cranks up the vocal effects on his dreamy take on “I’m So Tired,” a 1968 Beatles track originally sung by John Lennon. Though the rapper mostly croons the lyrics over a swaying arrangement, he drops into pseudo-rap delivery on portions of the track.
