The next generation of media creators is making its mark, as Genesis Ali Dean, the son of music icons Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, has officially launched his own YouTube series. Titled The Coolest Thing in the World?!, the program highlights the young host’s unique perspective as he sits down with industry leaders to discuss innovation and creativity.
The announcement came via a social media post from Swizz Beatz on October 11, where the proud father expressed his excitement for his 12-year-old son’s new venture. The show aims to provide viewers with a look at the world through Genesis’ eyes, focusing on CEOs who are spearheading groundbreaking projects and products.
In the inaugural episode, Genesis interviewed Constantin Buschmann, the owner and CEO of the Germany-based luxury automotive firm Brabus. The conversation centered on the Brabus Bodo, a 1,000-horsepower hypercar that serves as a tribute to the company’s late founder, Bodo Buschmann. Genesis was clearly impressed by the vehicle, describing the carbon fiber design as, “The littest thing on earth.”
According to the episode, the Brabus Bodo marks a significant milestone as the company’s first vehicle import into the United States, with the car destined for The Dean Collection—the extensive art and luxury vault curated by Swizz Beatz.
Reflecting on his son’s initiative, Swizz Beatz shared his support for the project on Instagram: “We would like to say congrats to our son Genesis for his new show on YouTube… He wanted to do a show interviewing CEOs of cool companies and show the coolest things they are doing. He wants to show you things from his lens.”
As Genesis continues to explore the intersection of business and creativity, his debut series offers a refreshing look at the leaders shaping the future of luxury and innovation.
