Let’s talk “Memories”! What inspired such a dynamic track? What is the intended message behind it?

I had to grow up and mature at a young age so it’s really about jumping in the streets and surviving, but really being able to reflect on what happened.

Which of your singles released so far are you most happy with? Why?

“Navy Blue” for sure, that’s just one of my favorites.

Tell us a bit about your childhood and adolescence years and how you began rapping, performing, and writing your own music.

I was born and raised in Dorchester, that’s a town in Boston. I started making music in 2009 when I was a freshman in high school but I never took it seriously till as of late. I guess I was tryna perfect my craft.

Who is your number one fan/supporter?

My manager 6ix Fever!

How did you choose the stage name 217Vinci and what does it signify?

The 217 building is like headquarters in my hood. It’s where everybody goes to smoke/drink chill at, you know. And I chose Vinci because Leonardo da Vinci was an artist of many talents and so I feel like in a way I’m the same.

What is the most exciting collab you’ve had so far? Who would you like to collaborate with in the future?

To be honest, I ain’t have it yet. I’m still waiting for that big collab with Durk.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve had to overcome as an artist? What is your motto when dealing with these sorts of situations?

Honestly, networking, not a real talkative person when it comes to strangers. So I’ll be a little hesitant to meet new people, but I’m getting used to it.
