Halsey took to social media to pay tribute to Juice WRLD following the release of his posthumous album Legends Never Die on Friday (July 10).
“Lots of feelings tonight. but the biggest one is love,” the pop star began on Twitter, using a dove emoji and the hashtags #LegendsNeverDie and #Iljw to pay tribute to the late rapper.
“Man, juice n I rode one of the best moments of my career together. we had so many more songs to make w [each other]. means the world to me I could be on this record. as friend and FAN. one of my fav artists of all time. one of the greatest people with the greatest smile. 4 ever,” she then tweeted, also posting photo of her recent tattoo memorializing the pals’ new duet “Life’s a Mess,” which serves as the third single off Legends Never Die.
Halsey and Juice WRLD first collaborated in early 2019 on the remix to her hit single “Without You,” less than a year before the rapper’s untimely death last December at the age of 21. While the song originally entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 18, the Juice WRLD-assisted remix arrived just two days before “Without You” earned Halsey her first solo No. 1 on the chart.
In addition to his latest track with the pop star, the rapper’s posthumous LP also features lead single “Righteous” as well as collaborations with the likes of Marshmello (“Come & Go,” “Hate the Other Side”), Trippie Redd (“Tell Me U Luv Me”) and more.
