Harry Hudson premiered the video for his new single “Let Me” on Wednesday (March 11), exclusively to Billboard.
Shot on location in Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam over the course of his recent European headlining tour, the visual finds the on-the-rise artist wandering the cosmopolitan cities as he pines after a new crush. “Suicide to my pride ’cause I’m all in/ No agenda, for you, girl I’ll take it slow/ You amazing, you’re killin’ it/ ‘Cause I’ve still got your ring around my neck/ From the fire you started, burnin’ through my head/ I’ll love you if you let me/ Love you if you let me,” he croons on the chorus over booming bass and moody pop production.
“Paris holds a special place in my heart,” Hudson tells Billboard. “I shared a special moment there with the person I wrote this song about. The shots at the Eiffel Tower are a wink to her. I wanted her to know I was thinking about her even when I was on tour and we were worlds apart.”
“Let Me” precedes the Roc Nation/Republic Records artist’s upcoming follow-up to his 2018 debut album, Yesterday’s Tomorrow Night, which is due out later this year. In the meantime, he’ll be hitting the road this spring as the supporting act for Alec Benjamin‘s North American tour, which kicks off April 14 at The Glasshouse in Pomona, Calif.
