Selena Gomez’s makeup line Rare Beauty is officially out on Sept. 3!
The 28-year-old singer-turned-makeup mogul announced today (Aug. 4) that she’ll be launching the collection named after her No. 1 album Rare at Sephora, Sephora Canada, Sephora Mexico and RareBeauty.com with a cheeky promo photo.
“I’m SO excited to finally share that @RareBeauty will be launching September 3rd only at @Sephora, @SephoraCanada, @SephoraMx and RareBeauty.com,” Gomez wrote on her Instagram. “I’ve had so much fun creating everything and can’t wait for y’all to try it all! I hope you love it as much as I do!”
And as part of the $100 million Rare Impact Fund her makeup company created to provide mental health services for underserved communities, 1% of annual sales on all Rare Beauty products in addition to funds raised by partners will benefit what could become one of the largest known funds supporting mental health from a corporate entity. Rare Beauty plans to raise $100 million over the next 10 years.
The Rare Beauty IG account also shared a video from their founder and 2017 Billboard Woman of the Year sharing what she hopes her makeup will accomplish for all of her consumers and fans of all genders.
“You know I live in a time where it’s all about face, it’s all about makeup, it’s all about how you like in a lot of ways. And that can be exciting and fun, but at the same time, it can just be a bit dangerous,” Gomez said in the video wearing all-new shades of Rare Beauty products compared to her previous post. “I wanted people to feel like makeup is something you can enjoy, it’s not something that you need. And I felt like that’s kind of who I am. I’m very authentic, I’m very real with my fans. So I’m excited that I got to venture into this. Any girl, woman, boy, whoever they are can just feel beautiful just exactly how they are.”
