IForIndia: Nick Jonas Performs 'Jealous' for COVID-19 Relief Fundraiser

Nick Jonas brought a solo performance of “Jealous” to IForIndia’s live streaming fundraiser for COVID-19 relief held on Sunday (May 3).

Proceeds from the program will go to GiveIndia to help provide personal protective equipment (PPE) kits to healthcare workers and food, rations and cash relief to daily wagers and migrant workers.

“India has become like a second home to me,” Jonas, guitar in hand, said before launching into his 2014 single. “My heart breaks for those whose lives are affected by this COVID-19 virus — so many daily wage earners and migrant workers. We need to do our part to help right now.”

“This is just to spread a little bit of positivity and love,” Priyanka Chopra added when she popped in front of the camera after her husband’s performance. “We are here with you at this time. We donated. Make sure you do, too.”

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner also made a brief appearance on the live stream, saying: “We are thinking of you, India, during this difficult time. We visited your country a year and a half ago and we fell in love with it. We can’t wait to go back after all this is said and done.”

Mick Jagger and Will Smith were among the other celebrities to take part in the event with messages to encourage donations.
