K-pop singer IU released a teaser video for “Eight” featuring BTS’ Suga on Monday (May 4). Both the track and music video will premiere on May 6.
The sneak peek features a clip of the pop star walking into an all-white, futuristic laboratory. Clad in a sheer white dress, IU lays down on the exam room table as the scene cuts out to reveal the title and release date for the upcoming single.
In addition to Suga providing vocals for the song, he is also credited as the producer.
The premiere will signal IU’s comeback following her 2019 EP Love poem and 2017 full-length album Palette. However, the songstress hasn’t been completely out of the spotlight since her last EP. Earlier this year, she dropped “Give You My Heart” for the soundtrack behind the hit Korean drama Crash Landing On You.
Meanwhile, Suga and the rest of the BTS members released Map Of The Soul: 7 in February of this year and are already working on their next album.
