J Balvin’s ‘Colores' Album: What We Know So Far

Colombian star J Balvin is getting ready to give his fans more music with his new album Colores. For some time now, he has been sharing important details about the new project on social media, providing hints as to what we can expect.

Here’s everything we know (so far) about J Balvin’s Colores.

Release date

Balvin, who is the latest artist to appear on Billboard’s magazine cover, revealed on Tuesday (Mar. 3) that he will release the album on March 20.

Track list and collabs

On Feb. 27, Apple music revealed the track list Twitter. The set contains nine songs and two collaborations with Sky and Mr. Eazi.

The album artwork

According to Balvin, the album art cover represents “dreams, because I always wanted to work with Takashi Murakami. Five years ago I drew a flower and didn’t know he would end up collaborating with me. And what better way to show color than flowers? It was meant to be.”

This year, J Balvin is a 12-time finalist at the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards. He is also confirmed to speak at Billboard and Telemundo’s LatinFest+ in Las Vegas in April.

Latinfest+ will be an immersive, weeklong experience for the Latin entertainment industry, artists, executives and fans and will include superstar conversations, industry panels and workshops, celebrity fireside chats, live concerts, fan experiences and live activations of some of Billboard’s most celebrated franchises, including On the Rise and Growing Up Latino.

It all culminates with the Billboard Latin Music Awards, which will air live April 23 on Telemundo. For more information visit latinfestplus.com
