J Balvin is ready to get 2020 started by releasing new music. On Monday afternoon (Jan. 6), the Colombian singer announced on his social media accounts that his new single, "Morado" (purple), is on the way.
J Balvin made the official announcement after posting a short clip, part of which will be his music video, where he appears as a king of an old kingdom (with a dragon, tiger and horses) and throwing purple paint at a wall, among other scenes. The clip has an instrumental reggaeton track as background and ends with the phrase yo pedi un trago y ella la botella (I asked for a drink and she asked for a bottle).
According to Balvin’s post, the new song is “coming soon.” See the announcement and photos below.
