J. Cole Announces Dreamville Film ‘Dreamers’: Watch the Trailer

Dreamville season is here. After dropping off a two-track appetizer to Revenge of the Dreamers III earlier in June, J. Cole shared a trailer to the forthcoming Dreamers documentary on Wednesday (June 26). The Dreamville film showcases exclusive footage of the famed recording sessions that took place inside Atlanta's Tree Sound Studios back in January.

"I had this idea, let's go somewhere, lock in, and invite a bunch of outside producers and artists to come fuck with us and make this album," Cole says at the top of the trailer. The clip features appearances from Bas, T.I., Smino, Buddy, Ari Lennox, Ski Mask the Slump God and more jamming out to the fresh tunes they just crafted.

Dreamers is slated to drop July 2. "Every time I watch it I wanna time travel back to the sessions," the "Middle Child" rapper wrote to Twitter when announcing the film surrounding the compilation project. ROTD3 remains without a concrete release date, but it seems to be inching closer with each passing day.
