That is all.
In case you forgot, Jack Antonoff is here to remind you that it’s August, and that there is a song on Taylor Swift’s Folklore album that he co-wrote and co-produced called “August.”
How do we know this? Antonoff tweeted “august now” on Saturday (Aug. 1) with a link to the song’s Apple Music page.
Though the month has just begun, it’s already shaping up to be a pretty great one for Swift, who just debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with Folklore, marking her seventh No. 1 album to debut at the top, which is a record for female artists. She’s also already nailed the biggest release of 2020 so far, and the biggest week of sales for any album since her 2019 release Lover.
Folklore also set records and hit No. 1 on Australia’s national album survey, with “Cardigan” hitting the top of the singles chart as well, with the album topping the Official U.K. Albums Chart as well. “August” is one of four songs Antonoff co-wrote and co-produced with Swift for Folklore.
