Jake Owen Wrote a Song About ‘Bachelorette’ Hannah Brown & This Is What She Said About It

Hannah Brown made headlines after The Bachelor premiere on Monday (Jan. 6), when she returned multiple times to get some closure with Peter Weber, who left brokenhearted and rejected as the second runner-up when she was the Bachelorette the season prior.

Country superstar Jake Owen was particularly inspired by Brown's attempt at rekindling her relationship, and took to Twitter to unveil a song about the situation. "Monday night, my girlfriend had the damn TV on and all you heard about on the new Bachelor was Alabama Hannah, it was just Alabama Hannah everywhere,” he explained “She won’t go away.”

He went on to say that he liked Brown when he met her during her season of the show, but her relationship with Weber is a perfect theme for a country song. “Alabama Hannah, what do you want? / If it’s love that you need, well then honey, it’s gone,” he sang from Weber's perspective. “You had your chances, so won’t you leave me alone. / Alabama Hannah, won’t you go on back home.”

“I been out here in California, I’ve been soaking up the sun / There’s lots of pretty ladies, and I can’t pick just one / I’m flying high, I got peace of mind, I already raised the bar / Now you’re showing up here tonight, who do you think you are?” he continued, before concluding with lyrics about the couple's four-time windmill hookup and Brown's Dancing With the Stars championship.

Brown wasn't too offended by the tune, tweeting at Owen: "Well, this is one way to get a song written about you. This is some catchy shade."
