Janet Jackson announced Monday (Feb. 10) that she'll be hitting the road in 2020 for a new world tour in support of her forthcoming twelfth studio album, Black Diamond.
The superstar's new show is set to include a mix of music from Black Diamond and the rest of her iconic discography — including a special performance from her landmark 1989 album Rhythm Nation 1814, which just celebrated its 30th anniversary.
Following on the heels of 2015's Unbreakable World Tour, the first leg of the worldwide jaunt will kick off June 24 at Miami's American Airlines Arena, with stops in 34 cities across North America including New York City, Detroit, Dallas, Los Angeles and Vancouver before wrapping up Aug. 23 in Tacoma, Wash. (The tour is also set to include headlining slots at New Orleans' Essence Festival and Cincinnati's Cincinnati Music Festival.)
Tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday (Feb. 13) Live Nation, with presales for the tour beginning Tuesday (Feb. 11) at 12 p.m. local time. While a release date for Black Diamond has yet to be announced, the album is expected to be released in 2020 Jackson's Rhythm Nation imprint and BMG.
