Previous story:
A lawsuit initially filed in October listing Diddy as a defendant has just been refiled to include JAY Z.
The lawsuit states that Jane Doe was dropped off at Radio Music City Hall in 2000 where the MTV Video Music Awards were taking place. She didn’t have a ticket, so she approached random limousines to try to get access to the show or an afterparty. One driver she approached claimed to be Diddy’s and said she “fit what Diddy was looking for.”
After the VMAs, he picked her up and took her to a house where she had to sign what she believes was a non-disclosure agreement. There, she says she was offered a drink that made her feel light-headed and that she needed to lie down.
Not long afterwards, Diddy and JAY Z reportedly entered the room, with the former saying that she was “ready to party”. Here, Jane Doe accuses JAY Z of removing her clothes, holding her down and raping her while Diddy and an unnamed female celebrity watched on.
The accuser is seeking unspecified damage. NBC News reached out to JAY Z’s attorney and publicist for comment. We’ll update when more details become available.
