John Monopoly Returns as Kanye West’s Manager After A Decade; Preps World Tour

It looks like Kanye West is in mood to get his music career back on track in the most efficient way.

Billboard reports that John Monopoly has officially returned as Kanye’s manager, more than a decade after splitting. John, who is a Chicago native as well, played a crucial role in Kanye’s rise to stardom in his early years.

Billboard’s sources have confirmed John’s new role. Ye also showered John with praise and recalled their history during a VULTURES private listening event in Los Angeles over the weekend. Kanye has not had an official manager since parting ways with Izvor Zivkovic in March 2018.

With John’s help, Kanye is putting together a world tour that is set to begin in a few months. The global trek will feature proper production and performances, unlike the listening events Ye is currently playing across the country to promote his music.

The tour will be Kanye’s first since 2016’s Saint Pablo Tour, which was infamously cut short in November 2016 as a result of the rapper’s hospitalization.
