Two pop queens are coming together for an epic remix.
JoJo took to Instagram on Wednesday (Aug. 5) to reveal that her good to know cut, “Lonely Hearts,” will be getting a fresh take with the help of none other than Demi Lovato.
The song’s subject matter is a perfect fit for Lovato, who is no stranger to songs encouraging self-love and putting yourself first. “How can I work on me if I’m working on your body? / I thought we were meant to be, but we never really got it, did we?
/ I know one thing, lonely hearts won’t break,” the chorus proclaims.
“‘Lonely Hearts (Remix)’ w the INCREDIBLE Demi Lovato. I can’t wait for you to hear her on this,” JoJo wrote in the caption of a side-by-side photo of the two vocal powerhouses.
“ps- you’re a real one baëb,” she added as a message to the recently-engaged Lovato. The “Lonely Hearts” remix is out August 28. See the announcement below.
