Well, Jones didn’t like White’s comments and immediately lashed out on social media where he accused the UFC president of being a liar and told White to release him from his contract.

“I don’t even make half of half of what Diante Wilder makes,” Jones said. “If my reputation causes you to undervalue me this much. Just go ahead and release me from my UFC contract altogether. I’m sure some promoter somewhere will be more than happy to pick me up.”

Disputes between big-name fighters and Dana White aren’t particularly new so we’re sure he’s more than ready to handle Jones’ demands. At the end of the day, this makes for some great promotion.
