Justin Bieber has finally shaved and brought the reign of "Mustachio" — or "Mustashio," depending on the day — to an end. For now.
The "Yummy" singer debuted his lip-grazing facial hair for his performance on Saturday Night Live on Feb. 8 and named it accordingly, and he's embraced his overgrown mustache in the days leading up to the drop of his new album, Changes, on Friday (Feb. 14).
That all changed on Sunday (Feb. 16) when Bieber picked up the clippers and made Mustachio disappear: he documented the moment on his Instagram Stories and hilariously soundtracked the mundane video with Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" and the Ray Charles classic "Hit the Road Jack."
Fans were extremely vocal about "Mustachio" on social media after his SNL performance, so who knows? Bieber may be down for significant grooming Changes, but it appears that the look could return sooner rather than later.
"MUSTASHIO went on holiday, but he will be back in due time," he shared on Instagram, along with a photo of his freshly-shorn face.
