Justin Quiles, Daddy Yankee & El Alfa's 'Pam' Exclusive

Justin QuilesDaddy Yankee and El Alfa are bringing happiness and a pop of color to these uncertain times with the release of their first-ever collaboration “Pam,” premiering exclusively on Billboard below.

Fusing the best of both worlds, “Pam” is a vibrant track that interlaces Puerto Rico’s reggaeton and the Dominican Republic’s dembow, whose infectious hook will have you dancing all night long at Club Quarantine.

“The song was originally going to be El Alfa and me,” Quiles tells Billboard. “But one day I was in the studio with Daddy Yankee and when he heard this song, he immediately said he wanted to jump on it. We put the song on hold for him,” he says, adding that his part with El Alfa was ready in late 2019 and Yankee joined in early 2020. “For me, it’s a dream come true that Yankee liked the song and hopped on. I have a lot of faith on this track.”

The music video, which was directed by JP Valencia and produced by 36 Grados between Puerto Rico and Colombia, shows Quiles and El Alfa as the owners of a bakery and sharing their success story on a foreign TV show as a symbolism that their musical abilities and hit records know no barriers. They are joined by Yankee and a group of dancers who are jamming to the song inside a colorful bakery.

“My fans are going to be surprised with this song,” Quiles assures. “It’s weird to see all three of us collaborating and I think people are not going to expect this. This is a new style for Justin Quiles and we’re going to take it to the next level.”
