Ever wonder what it would be like to hang at home with Justin and Hailey Bieber? Your prayers are answered in the new 12-episode Facebook Watch series The Biebers on Watch, which debuts exclusively on FB Watch today (May 4).
The intimate look at the couple’s life opens with the couple sitting side-by-side in quarantine as Justin explains that viewers will get a glimpse of what the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown has been like for the newlyweds, starting with a trip to the lake they live on for some old fishing tales from Justin’s youth.
Hopping on the stickered-up blue Drew House boat, Justin fires up the engine as Hailey calls the lake their “sanctuary,” with JB bragging about the trout he caught as a kid that was “this big.” With a cold wind blowing in, Justin asks his beloved what she’s found to be the “most rewarding” thing about being married.
“The most rewarding thing about being married definitely is… just the companionship, I think, that you get out of it,” Hailey, 23, says. “The more that you work on it, and you fight for it to be solid and you fight for it to be… it takes a lot of work wouldn’t you say? We’ve had to work hard on our relationship and I think that that pays off in a way where you just become so connected to each other and so close and so solid with each other.”
Spoiler alert: Justin, 26, is her best friend and he gets it, answering right back with “the security marriage gives you is make a covenant before God to love that person for better or worse, in sickness and in health, which is something that you’ve done amazing for me.”
You might recall that in their previous docu-series, the YouTube Premium series Justin Bieber: Seasons, we watched the couple struggle together as Justin confronted his Lyme Disease and chronic case of mono.
The convo gets pretty deep, as the couple float on the water and talk about trust, forgiveness and why the period after their initial breakup helped them grow enough to enter their marriage with open eyes. The series, which will drop new episodes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday exclusively on Facebook Watch — including a Facebook LIVE episode — will also include cameos from their famous friends and it can be viewed here and on Justin’s FB page.
Justin will return to your ears on Friday (May 8) with their charity single “Stuck with U,” a benefit for the First Responders Children’s Foundation.
