Justin Timberlake has done plenty of interviews throughout his career, but his latest may be the cutest one yet.
The singer answered questions from kids while hunkered down in his Montana home, and yes, the result is adorable. In the five-minute clip, which was recorded for People TV, Timberlake shares what makes him happy (hint: junk food), the trick to beatboxing, and his favorite childhood toy.
Arguably the most precious question of them all came from a 3-year-old named Madison, who asked what song makes him want to dance — and showed off her own dance moves. After gushing over her cuteness, Timberlake answered, “Most recently in the morning when we’ve been cooking, we’ve been playing a lot of Motown songs. So play a Motown playlist, that will surely get you on your feet.”
Another little girl with curly hair asked about what he uses on his own coiled locks, which made Timberlake admit, “I went through a lot of different hairstyles that I’d like to forget.” But as he demonstrated in the video, the trick to a bad hair day is a good hat.
Timberlake also revealed that he and his 4-year-old son Silas have been playing Just Dance (“especially the partner dances,” he said) and Pictionary on the TV while quarantined and that they love Legos in the Timberlake household. They’ve also been watching Trolls World Tour (which everyone can watch at home on AppleTV starting April 10), and it sounds like Silas has found a new favorite troll that isn’t Timberlake’s character — sorry, Dad!
