The Throne is back together.
Kanye West premiered his 10th studio album DONDA at a listening event at Atlantaís Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thursday night. Following collaborations with Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Pusha T, Travis Scott, Roddy Ricch, and more, Ye played one last song that had the stadium shook.
JAY-Zís voice echoed through the speakers for the final track. ďDonda, Iím wit your baby when I touch back road,Ē he raps. ďTold him stop all that red cap, we goiní home / Cannot be with all of these sins casting stones / This might be the return of The Throne / Hova and Yeezy like Moses and Jesus.Ē

Elsewhere on DONDA, Lil Durk referenced Kanye and JAY-Zís relationship on his verse: ďYe and JAY still brothers / They both billionaires.Ē
The song marks Ye and JAYís first collaboration since Drakeís ďPop StyleĒ in 2016. The longtime friends and collaborators have had an estranged relationship for years, but briefly reunited at Diddyís 50th birthday in December 2019. Kanye admitted that he felt ďhurtĒ when JAY and Beyoncť didnít show up to his and Kim Kardashianís wedding in 2014 and called out the superstar couple on stage during his ďSaint Pablo TourĒ in 2016.
The new song has reignited talks of a long-awaited sequel to JAY-Z and Kanyeís 2011 collaborative album Watch the Throne.
